Hilton Head Distillery opened its doors in September of 2016 as the island’s first and only distillery. We chose to call Hilton Head home because of its rich history, which is closely tied to the history of rum itself. We see the island as a landmark of our passion and our craft: a constant reminder of where we came from and the journey that led us here.
Our distillation system was custom made to produce the highest quality products with the best possible flavor profile. We measure, cut, and blend every element with a careful, artisanal hand, using age-old distillation techniques to inform our craft. We source the world’s finest ingredients as the foundation for our spirits, and produce each one in small, highly controlled batches.
Join us at our Cardinal Road facility on Hilton Head Island for a captivating experience. We offer the following activities for our guests to enjoy:
Distillery Tour and Tasting
Guests are invited to spend about 45 minutes with a tour guide, learning about the history of rum, the story behind our company, and the intricate details of the distillation process. This activity costs $20 per person and includes a full tasting flight, plus a souvenir shot glass.
Distillery Tours and Tastings are offered every hour, on the hour. We ask that guests arrive 10 minutes before the start of the activity. Tours will leave no later than 5 minutes after the hour; those who arrive late will be asked to wait until the next tour time. Please call us at (843) 686-4443 to confirm tour availability or make a reservation.
For those guests who are pressed for time, we offer tastings of our products for $10 per person. Taste up to six products NEAT and enjoy ONE cocktail from our menu, OR simply order TWO cocktails. Tastings are offered throughout the day on a first come, first serve basis.
Hilton Head Distillery is also available for private, corporate, or large group events. For more information please drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org.
